Richard Glehan

Richard Glehan has a B.S. degree from Springfield College, Springfield, Massachusetts and almost thirty years of corporate personnel, human resources and recruitment experience. His career in human resources began at the plant personnel level which included advancement to the corporate director of a major multi-unit theme restaurant organization, Steak & Brew. His experience included Program Director with the American Management Association, as well as Human Resources Director with a division of Metromedia, a global communications company. In 1977 he co-founded one of the oldest physician search firms in the United States and one of the five major divisions of a national employment-related organization, formerly listed on the American Stock Exchange. He was a member of the Board of Directors of that organization until 1990 when he purchased it from the parent corporation.

Mr. Glehan is active in the National Association of Physician Recruiters, having held the position of President of that organization. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Chairs the Ethics Committee. He was also the President of the for-profit arm of the National Association.

Mr. Glehan has written numerous articles in the field of physician recruiting for publications including: Ophthalmology Times, the OB/GYN Resident, the Orthopedic Resident, the Psychiatric Resident, the Surgical Resident, the Anesthesiology Resident, the Family Practice Resident, the Internal Medicine Resident, the Pediatric Resident and the Ophthalmic Resident. He was a significant contributor to the Ortho Pharmaceutical Institute of Physician Practice Development Videotape Series, and has presented programs in the area of physician recruitment at the New England Healthcare Assembly, National Association of Physician Recruiters, Louisiana Medical Group Management Association and the Hospital Association of New York State (HANYS).

He consults nationally on physician compensation, practice infrastructure, physician contracts and organizational issues. In addition, he has provided expert witness testimony in several healthcare-related legal proceedings.

Wanda M. Parker

Wanda Parker has worked in the physician recruiting industry since 1984. Her career began as an in-house hospital recruiter with additional responsibilities for overall credentialing of physicians and Allied Health Professionals. She participated in New York State Department of Health and JCAHO on-site surveys and coordinated special projects with the Hospital Association of New York State (HANYS).

In 1988 she joined a well-recognized, national physician recruiting firm. As Vice President she was responsible for all activities associated with the recruitment of physicians and allied healthcare. She developed the corporate candidate databank and the resource library as well as wrote the corporate training manual for hospital and medical group in-house recruiters and the firm's staff.

Ms. Parker is active in the National Association of Physician Recruiters and is currently Chairperson of the Security Committee.

As part of The HealthField Alliance team, she recruits for clients in both rural and urban areas and provides consulting on a variety of issues.
